- Salary Range: $93,000–$110,000/year + Bonus & Benefits
Edelman Financial Engines (EFE), the largest independent financial planning firm in the U.S., is hiring a Data Analyst to join our Corporate Analytics team. This remote role blends technical curiosity, financial insights, and GenAI innovation to power decisions across our retirement planning and investment services.
What You’ll Do- Partner cross-functionally to uncover business needs and build data-driven solutions
- Construct clean, scalable datasets for analysis and reporting
- Extract insights from structured and unstructured data sources (text, feedback, docs)
- Build dashboards and self-serve reporting tools using AWS Quick Sight or similar
- Apply Generative AI tools (AWS Bedrock, Sage Maker) for deeper analysis and predictive insights
- Define key performance metrics and analytical models
- Present insights clearly to stakeholders for real-world impact
- 1–3 years of experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Python/R
- Background in data warehousing, AWS services, and visualization tools
- Experience using GenAI tools (Bedrock, Sage Maker, custom LLMs) is a plus
- Understanding of predictive modeling and machine learning (a bonus)
- Clear communication skills in agile, cross-functional environments
- Finance or retirement planning knowledge (401(k), IRA) preferred
- Bachelor’s in statistics, finance, economics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
