JOB SUMMARYThe Infrastructure Architecture Manager is responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and support of the organization's enterprise infrastructure environment. This role serves as the technical lead for network architecture, virtualization, cloud services, storage, server infrastructure, and disaster recovery initiatives. The position works closely with the IT Manager to develop infrastructure strategies, establish technical standards, and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of enterprise systems.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS Network Architecture & Engineering
- Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, VPN, wireless, and internet connectivity solutions.
- Architect network segmentation utilizing VLANs, routing policies, ACLs, and security zones.
- Design and maintain enterprise routing and switching environments utilizing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
- Develop high‑availability network solutions including redundancy, failover, and load balancing.
- Perform network capacity planning, performance analysis, and optimization.
- Architect and administer VMware vSphere, ESXi, Hyper‑V, and related virtualization platforms.
- Design highly available compute environments supporting business‑critical applications.
- Manage server lifecycle planning, capacity management, and infrastructure optimization.
- Support operating system upgrades, migrations, and modernization projects.
- Design and support hybrid infrastructure environments utilizing Microsoft Azure and AWS.
- Develop cloud architecture standards and deployment methodologies.
- Evaluate cloud migration opportunities and infrastructure‑as‑a‑service solutions.
- Serve as the highest‑level escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.
- Lead infrastructure‑related projects from design through implementation.
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and service providers on infrastructure initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to infrastructure and support personnel.
- Support acquisition integrations, site deployments, and technology standardization efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, architecture, or systems administration.
- Advanced expertise with:
- Enterprise Routing & Switching
- WAN, VPN, and SD‑WAN Technologies
- VMware vSphere, ESXi, and Virtualization Platforms
- Storage Infrastructure (SAN/NAS)
- Windows Server Administration
- Active Directory & Identity Services
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and project execution skills.
