Job Description

A large telecommunications provider is looking for a NOC Technician that will be responsible for monitoring dark fiber repairs and cuts. This role involves working with internal teams to prioritize and resolve tickets that impact revenue-generating activities, performing advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues. Coordination with field technicians for maintenance and repairs, remote testing, and escalation of issues are key responsibilities.

Additionally, the NOC Technician participates in quality control, performance improvement, and training initiatives, and may assist related teams during peak workloads.

This person can work remote anywhere in the United States and it is a night shift pattern, requiring a proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills in a multi-vendor environment.
