About the role

As a Consulting Principal - Salesforce Business Architect, you will make an impact by leading large-scale Salesforce-enabled transformation programs, driving enterprise process optimization, and delivering measurable business outcomes for clients. You will be a valued member of the Consulting team and work collaboratively with senior client stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and leadership to design and deliver scalable, high-impact solutions.

In this role, you will:

* Lead Salesforce transformation engagements, owning discovery, solution design, and delivery for complex, multi-cloud programs aligned to business strategy and enterprise architecture

* Drive enterprise process optimization by assessing current-state workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and designing future-state operating models using Lean, automation, and best practices

* Partner with senior stakeholders across Sales, Service, Operations, IT, and Compliance to enable alignment, adoption, and scalable process execution

* Translate business requirements into technical and architectural solutions, including user stories, process maps, and platform design frameworks

* Lead stakeholder engagement, executive workshops, and change management initiatives to ensure successful program delivery and measurable business outcomes

What you must have to be considered

* 15+ years extensive experience leading Salesforce transformation programs across multi-cloud environments in a consulting or advisory capacity

* Strong expertise in business process optimization, including workflow redesign, automation, and enterprise operating models

* Proven track record of engaging senior stakeholders and driving large-scale transformation initiatives end-to-end

* Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical architectures and solution designs

* Strong client-facing, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to deliver measurable business outcomes

These will help you succeed

* Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud)

* Experience with enterprise data governance, security models, and platform scalability best practices

* Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and large transformation programs

* Experience leading cross-functional global teams and managing complex stakeholder environments

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities

Compensation

$122,400 - $194,000

This position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
