The Senior Solution Architect designs integrated technical solutions supporting digital modernization initiatives across CDAO programs. Directly supports CDAO stakeholders while ensuring quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

* Design enterprise-level technology solutions supporting AI, data, and mission systems.

* Develop system architectures integrating cloud services, analytics platforms, and enterprise applications.

* Support modernization and migration initiatives across legacy and modern IT environments.

* Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical recommendations.

* Collaborate with program leadership and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions.

* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

* 8+ years of experience in solution architecture or systems architecture.

* Experience designing enterprise IT solutions supporting federal programs.

* Active Secret security clearance required (or higher).

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience supporting DoD, CDAO, Joint Staff, or Combatant Command digital modernization, AI, data analytics, or enterprise technology initiatives.

* Demonstrated experience designing and implementing cloud-native and hybrid architectures leveraging AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, microservices, and API-driven integrations.

* Experience leading architecture efforts for large-scale system modernization, application migration, and enterprise platform integration within federal environments.

* Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* Ability to work on-site 5 days a week

* Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting

* Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time-related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment

* Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals

* Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.

* Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications

* Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting, as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.

* Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, and previous customer service experience strongly desired.

* Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
