About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and mission-driven Solutions Consultant to support presales engagements at the forefront of digital identity. In this role, you will work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to scope, design, and deliver compelling IDV solutions—including document authentication, biometric verification, liveness detection, and fraud detection. You will lead product demonstrations, technical discovery, and Proof of Concept (POC) cycles for some of the world’s most regulated and security-conscious organizations.
The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of identity workflows, API integrations, compliance requirements (e.g., KYC, AML, GDPR), and thrives at the intersection of product and customer needs.
Preferred candidate is in PST or can regularly support those hours.
Responsibilities- Partner with Account Executives to identify client needs and recommend IDV workflows (e.g., document-first vs. data-first journeys)
- Deliver high-impact demos and technical deep-dives on IDV capabilities (e.g., document verification, selfie match, liveness checks, fraud analysis)
- Serve as the technical expert throughout the sales cycle, from early discovery to final proposal
- Lead detailed discovery sessions to gather requirements across compliance, risk, fraud, and engineering stakeholders
- Document and design IDV workflows (API and SDK-based), including fallback logic, decision trees, and integration points
- Translate business goals into clearly scoped technical solutions and success criteria
- Lead structured POCs/POVs with KPIs tied to performance (e.g., false rejection rates, pass rates by geography, user experience)
- Coordinate with Delivery for the setup of test environments, synthetic or production data validation, and real-time troubleshooting
- Partner with product and engineering to ensure test coverage and resolve technical blockers
- Relay insights and customer feedback to Product to influence roadmap prioritization
- Maintain up-to-date expertise on IDV industry standards (NIST, ISO, etc.) and regulatory frameworks
- Support sales enablement by reviewing playbooks, creating reusable demo assets, and vertical-specific talk tracks
- 4+ years in a solutions consulting, sales engineering, or technical presale's role within SaaS or Security/IDV
- Familiarity with IDV technologies, including OCR, facial biometrics, passive/active liveness, and fraud detection
- Experience with RESTful APIs, SDK integration (iOS/Android/web), and developer onboarding
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Prior experience supporting regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, crypto, telecom) a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
