Remote Head of Developer Relations - Gateway Labs Job Buffalo New York USA,IT/Tech

At Gateway Labs, we are at the forefront of privacy enhancing technology, paving the way for building and deploying private data based applications, networks, and systems. We are seeking a Head of Developer Relations to help us move this forward. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and experience in building or participating in a successful Developer Relations program at an L1/L2 network or storage protocol.

Responsibilities

Identify the requirements and challenges of builders and collaborate with Gateway Protocol, Engineering, and Marketing teams.

Focus on coordination and ensure the success of integration partners using the network.

Identify needs of existing L1s/L2s and spearhead integrations to expand

Lead the creation and execution of strategies for developer relations, such as organizing hackathons and initiating grant programs.

Hire, mentor, and expand a team of developer relations engineers.

Manage the setup and operation of the developer relations program.

Represent the company effectively at conferences and other public speaking engagements.

Cultivate strong connections within the developer community

Showcase demos and use cases on the Gateway Protocol

Keep the developer portal and technical documentation up to date.

Work with builders and strategic partners to understand their needs, devise technical solutions to their issues, and gather feedback about the platform.

Participate in or lead conferences and events to acquire and disseminate knowledge about user experiences and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

Strong computer science foundation, with the ability to build productively onchain. You’ll be responsible for coding 10% of the time as well.
Experience in a similar role.
Effective written and verbal communication abilities, including the knack for simplifying complex subjects into easily comprehensible ideas.
Active participation and a proven track record of contributions in the web3 community.
Proficiency in blockchain technology
Strong alignment with Gateway's mission and values.
