Duties & Responsibilities

The position of Assistant Director, Hospital Billing Svcs - Revenue Cycle designs, installs, monitors, maintains, and performance-tunes production of SQL, Sharepoint, and other databases for the Revenue Cycle Services department by performing the following specialized tasks:

• Develop, implement and oversee database policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of data extracts and applications.

• Develop queries, procedures and custom reports using MS-SQL, Access and related application databases.

• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.

• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration with existing and new applications.

• Create and document models for new database development and changes to existing ones.

• Develop long-term reporting strategies for NYCHHC's financial divisions.

• Analyze user requirements for reports, forms, queries, and data extraction.

• Monitor database system details, including stored procedures, execution time, and implement efficiency improvements.

• Develop and administer strategies for the control and sharing of company information posted in Sharepoint and other database services.

• Gather and validate data from the Robotic Process Automation bot activity logs and databases.

The Assistant Director, Hospital Billing Svcs - Revenue Cycle is a specialized role that ensures the stability and reliability of data access and data quality across the organization via ongoing database support and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology or a directly related field.

2 years' experience as a Database Analyst, Software Consultant, or related position.

2 years' experience using the following:

• SQL Server

• Java Script

• JQuery

• Sharepoint

• EPIC Workbench

• Visual Studio

• C#

• CSS

• XML
• .NET

• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
