We are seeking a detail-oriented, client-focused Professional Services Project Manager to lead and manage the successful implementation of Simpli Gov’s platform for our government clients.

Role Overview

As a Professional Services Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning and managing implementation projects following internal deadlines and within budget. This includes managing resources, coordinating the efforts of team members, and interfacing directly with clients to ensure a high level of satisfaction and successful solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads end-to-end project delivery for Simpli Gov platform implementations, from kickoff through go-live and post-launch support.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and client satisfaction.
  • Defines project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Develops and manages detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Manages internal teams including business analysts, solution engineers, and technical consultants.
  • Identifies and manages project risks and issues, escalating as needed.
  • Conducts regular project status meetings and provides updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement of implementation methodologies and best practices.
  • Supports the development of Statements of Work (SOWs) and change orders.
  • Leverages project management software to create dashboards, reports and automated follow ups. Leverages AI to identify risks and late tasks.
Qualifications

Required:

  • 4+ years of experience managing software implementation or SaaS projects, preferably within Professional Services or consulting environments.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client-facing projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, Confluence).

Preferred:

  • Experience working with or for government agencies or public sector clients.
  • Knowledge of business process automation or no-code/low-code platforms.
  • PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification.
