Overview
You want a system you can fully own. If you have operated endpoint fleets, managed SaaS access, and handled hardware procurement at scale firsthand — and you prefer to build the operational infrastructure yourself rather than manage those who build it — this position is designed for you. This is a senior individual contributor role. No team to manage. Complete ownership.
2 Hour Learning is expanding a new K-12 model driven by AI-powered personalized learning. Campuses launch at a consistent pace, and the distinction between a campus that opens on schedule and one that delays frequently hinges on a single operational element: are devices provisioned, are SaaS licenses activated, are communication tools set up? We are recruiting a VP-level operator to own that entire workflow across an expanding network.
You will oversee device procurement from Dell, HP, Apple, and Lenovo; manage MDM and provisioning systems; handle SaaS account administration and renewals for 14+ platforms; and deploy the campus technology onboarding playbook (Google Voice, Zoom Phone, Zoom Rooms). You will define the standard for this function — the SOPs, the automation, the AI-enhanced workflows — and you will execute it directly.
If you are seeking a senior IC position with defined ownership, tangible launch results, and the freedom to design the operating framework rather than manage a support backlog, we want to speak with you.
What You Will Be Doing- Take full ownership of device procurement from Dell, HP, Apple, and Lenovo — managing vendor partnerships, lead time tracking, technical specifications, and delivery coordination to ensure every campus is equipped prior to launch
- Manage provisioning, imaging, enrollment, and device lifecycle operations for student and staff hardware via an MDM platform, maintaining precise asset records across the entire network
- Oversee SaaS account management, user permissions, and licensing for 14+ platforms — anticipating utilization trends, renewal cycles, and access requirements before issues surface
- Deploy the new-campus technology onboarding playbook in full: prepare devices, provision platforms, and configure Google Voice, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Rooms ahead of opening day
- Establish the operational benchmark — create and refine SOPs, runbooks, and launch checklists, and leverage AI tools to automate recurring tasks so the function expands without increasing headcount
- Leading a team — this is a senior IC position where you execute the work directly, not through others
- Operating within a ticket queue evaluated by volume rather than launch success
- Drafting long-term IT architecture presentations while launch schedules fall behind
- Conducting unplanned purchasing without inventory oversight, vendor alignment, or documented specifications
- Depending on others to create procedures — you establish them, document them, and refine them with each iteration
Key Responsibilities
This position ensures that every campus launches and runs on time because devices, SaaS access, and launch technology are completely provisioned and operational before the first day.
Basic Requirements- Currently based in the United States and authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship
- Available and willing to travel periodically to US campuses
- Senior-level expertise managing an MDM platform such as Manage Engine, Jamf, Intune, Mosyle, or similar — full platform ownership, not just usage
- Direct experience deploying and supporting end-user devices (laptops or tablets) at scale, including zero-touch/automated enrollment, imaging, or scripted configuration
- Proven experience managing SaaS platforms across multiple vendors, covering account provisioning, permissions control, and license oversight
- Documented ownership of hardware procurement and asset tracking systems — vendor evaluation, asset documentation, refresh and disposal management
- Solid history of producing and maintaining operational documentation (SOPs, runbooks, playbooks) that can be executed by others
- Proven application of AI tools to resolve technical issues or automate repetitive operational tasks
