Overview
The Business Analyst is the functional expert that bridges business areas and technical teams, ensuring that business, user and system needs are elicited, documented, validated and translated into specifications that support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Gather, elicit and document business and user requirements for low‑complexity software, systems, processes and services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create requirements documentation and project plans, and to schedule requirements management and development activities.
- Participate in requirements analysis, verification sessions, design reviews, and development sessions to ensure requirements are met.
- Manage user acceptance testing, including documentation, verification, release, test plan implementation, gap identification and issue resolution.
- Identify, document and troubleshoot problems in systems, software and processes; develop solutions and workarounds for low‑complexity issues.
- Document detailed business system and user needs, and create clear, organized requirements deliverables.
- Monitor project status, mitigate risks, coordinate projects from concept through implementation, and prioritize new work requests.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in functional, operational, business, data, systems or testing analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong time‑management, organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to organize stakeholder meetings and train users.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality, effective deliverables on time and contribute to cost‑effective solutions.
- Moderate understanding of business analysis core competencies.
- General knowledge of FACETS system.
$60,840 – $120,835
