The Associate Product Manager will partner closely with internal teams to translate public safety customer needs into product requirements and support implementation through collaboration with development teams. Individuals in this role will join a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment that values innovation, accountability, and precision in execution.

This position can be home-based but must be able to work East Coast hours - USA only.

• Develop and build awareness of key customer needs, as relayed by others.
• Participate in customer discovery activities with the product team and give input for solutions.
• Help others deliver on existing customer commitments.
• Regularly read competitive announcements and events.
• Seek out data in partnership with others to support decisions.
• Review data from predefined dashboards and share with team members for decision making.
• Understand key metrics for the feature area and major influencers of these metrics.
• Participate in go‑to‑market launch plans and activities.
• Develop an understanding of how the product is marketed to customers.
• Participate in select customer events.
• Distribute information to sales and marketing to educate on product issues.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the customer experience and components of a good product.
• Write clear and concise product requirements that meet guidelines in a timely and effective manner.
• Recommend and plan use of feature functionality.
• Develop an understanding of, and execute defined product strategy.
• Proactively ask questions about strategy and goals.
• Learn the company technology stack at a high level for the feature area.
• Write detailed technical user stories and present to internal stakeholders.
• Learn about technologies to assist day‑to‑day tasks.

• Minimum Years of Product Management
  
  Experience:
  
  0‑2 years.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and priorities.
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
• Understanding software development methodologies like Agile Scrum, Kanban and writing user stories.
• Experience in Government or Law Enforcement industries and/or public records is a plus.
• Familiarity with our Law Enforcement products (Accurint Virtual Crime Center and Accurint TraX) is a plus.
• Education to Qualify:
  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical subject (Computer Science or Engineering discipline) is preferred, but not essential.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Physical and/or logical access to criminal justice information is an essential function of this role. The successful candidate will be required to pass an enhanced criminal background check conducted by the Company’s state and local law enforcement partners in compliance with the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) security policy.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $53,900 - $89,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.

Base Pay Range for IL $56,500 - $94,200.
Base Pay Range for Chicago, IL $59,300 - $98,700.
Base Pay Range for MD $56,500 - $94,200.
Base Pay Range for NY $59,300 - $98,700.
Base Pay Range for New York City $64,700 - $107,700.
Base Pay Range for Rochester, NY $53,900 - $89,800.
Base Pay Range for OH $51,200 - $85,300.
Base Pay Range for NJ $63,448 - $101,352.

This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
