The Department of Technology, Management and Budget supports the business operations of state agencies through services such as building management, information technology, contracting, procurement, budget, space planning, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.
This position is with the Agency Services area of DTMB and functions as a Senior Salesforce Application Developer for the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, supporting the modernization and ongoing operations of critical Child Welfare and State Hospital systems, including the Michigan Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (MiSACWIS) and the Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS).
DTMB does not participate in STEM-OPT.
Position Location/Remote Office:
Lansing, MI. The State of Michigan is not able to offer employment to out-of-state applicants that do not plan to relocate. The Department of Technology Management and Budget currently offers a hybrid work option which requires two days working on-site at the official work location and three days of remote work per week.
- Modernize and maintain Salesforce applications supporting MiSACWIS and CCWIS.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and compliance with state and federal standards.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver new features and enhancements.
- Participate in system testing, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Education
:
Bachelor's degree with 21 semester (32 term) credits in computer science, data processing, computer information systems, data communications, networking, systems analysis, computer programming, information assurance, IT project management, or mathematics.
Experience
:
Two years of professional experience equivalent to an Information Technology Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst P11.
