The Data & Architecture Office brings together areas critically important to the future prosperity of HSBC. The focus is on creating connections between business processes, data, products, services, and technology that underpin our interactions with customers, and financial success.

You will become a Senior Developer in the Data & Reporting Developer’s Team within the Data & Architecture Office, responsible for delivering high‑quality data insights and repository solutions aligned to Bank standards.

What you’ll do

E2E delivery of assigned projects, such as developing performance KPIs, data models based on multiple data sources in alignment to standards and business requirements, including data discovery, data cleaning and transformation, metrics calculation, data aggregation and data validation.
Perform matching and linking across datasets.
Ensure secure movement of data from sources to targets.
Provide complex reporting solutions within Google Cloud environment and/or Microsoft SQL Server, utilising Python, TSQL and other technologies.
Work with stakeholders and business partners to understand requirements and process logic; play an active role in understanding core problem statements.
Identify internal process improvements opportunities.
Identify and manage risks and process blockers in area of responsibility.
Document the processes by creating road‑maps, process descriptions and other documentation.
Drive assigned projects, including facilitating discussion and monitoring progress.

What you need to have to succeed in this role

At least 3 years of experience in a data‑related role: SQL development, data analysis, data engineering, data architecture, data management and/or modelling with hands‑on technical experience of associated technologies.
Advanced knowledge of SQL programming and relational database systems; experience with Google Cloud Platform products, especially Big Query and Data Studio, is highly desirable.
Understanding of ETL and data warehousing principles.
Experience preparing business reporting and front‑end dashboards.
Knowledge of Python is an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; business English proficiency is a must.
Positive, proactive attitude and a goal‑oriented approach to problem solving.

Pay range: 15 775 PLN – 20 000 PLN monthly, gross.
