Information Technology Senior Consultant -BP-Information Technology Hanover, MD

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI W/ FULL SCOPE POLYGRAPH SECURITY CLEARANCE (U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED) Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems based upon documented requirements.
• Review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and document test results.
• Utilize software development and design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Provide specific input to the software components of system design, including hardware/software trade‑offs, software reuse, use of COTS/GOTS in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual components.
• Provide Help Desk Support; ticket handling and resolution utilizing JIRA.

• Experience scripting with Java using Linux.
• Strong background with Docker and Maven.
• Proficiency with Git/Gitlab; knowledge and experience with CI/CD and Git Ops principles.
• Experience with Helm, Kubectl, and Kubernetes.

• Experience with Flux and Kustomize.
• Experience with Kafka, Kyverno, and/or Minio.

Associates degree with fifteen (15) years of relevant experience or bachelor’s degree with twelve (12) years of relevant experience.

High School Diploma with 20 years of relevant experience.

We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $250,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's work location, specific role, skill set, and level of expertise.
