Client First Technologies currently is seeking a Network and Computer Systems Administrator, Advanced in support of our government customer. The Network and Computer Systems Administrator (CSWF – Advanced) leads cloud environment administration and security operations, serving as a senior technical resource for the government customer's network and cloud infrastructure.
This is a hybrid remote work opportunity; the onsite location is Patuxent River, MD.

Requirements- Install, configure, and maintain cloud-hosted data environments across the Patuxent River Data Center (NMCI Core, eDMZ, SIPRNET) and AWS Gov Cloud (IL4/IL5/IL6)
- Administer web/application servers (~250 total servers hosting ~200 production applications) running Windows and Red Hat Linux operating systems
- Perform system monitoring; verify integrity and availability of cloud architecture resources, review system and application logs, and verify completion of scheduled jobs
- Implement network and computer security measures in accordance with Cloud Service Offering levels and FIPS 199; complete applicable server STIGs and SRGs per RMF requirements
- Manage SSL certificates, DNS entries, F5 BIG-IP iRules, DISA Whitelist entries, and Boundary Change Requests (BCRs) to facilitate application and database access
- Support AWS Gov Cloud environments (IL2/IL4/IL5/IL6) using cloud-native services including SQS, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, RDS, ECS, Fargate, Cloud Watch, and Glue
- Remediate server and software vulnerability scan findings; maintain inventory in the CMDB; follow CCB change management guidelines
- Support after-hours and weekend maintenance activities; maintain up-to-date contact information for extended support coverage
All qualifications are required unless specifically marked as preferred.
- Meets the DCWF Work Role 451 (Network Operations) Advanced qualification via one of: (a) Education qualification, (b) Training qualification, or (c) Certification qualification as defined in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).)
- At least 7 years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional description, or meets the military equivalent OJT requirement
- Must achieve CSWF qualification no later than 30 days after performance start date
- CompTIA Security+ CE Certification (or equivalent privileged-access certification: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP) — required prior to performance of any Privileged Access duties
- Operating system training certificate of completion or certification relevant to the primary operating system the position is supporting — required prior to performance of any Privileged Access duties
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Occasional travel and overtime may be required
- This position requires an active TOP SECRET security clearance. Candidates must be eligible for and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance throughout the duration of performance on this contract.
