We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end reimplementation of
UKG Dimensions, executed in parallel with a large-scale Workday HCM/Payroll implementation. This role
requires a seasoned Project Manager with deep, hands-on UKG Dimensions expertise, particularly in
complex healthcare environments with intricate pay rules, shift differentials, internal controls, and clinical
workforce scheduling requirements.
The ideal candidate has successfully managed multiple full lifecycle UKG implementations, including at
least one reimplementation involving significant remediation of legacy configurations, data structures, and
business processes. Experience in a large academic medical center or similarly complex 24/7 clinical
environment is strongly preferred.
This is a mission-critical role with high visibility across HR, Payroll, Finance, Nursing, and IT.
Responsibilities:
Lead the full project lifecycle for the UKG Dimensions reimplementation, from initiation through
go-live and stabilization.
- Drive alignment and integration between UKG Dimensions and the concurrent Workday
implementation, ensuring cohesive design across timekeeping, payroll, accruals, and workforce
management.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, RAID logs, resource plans, and executive
dashboards.
- Facilitate decision-making across cross-functional teams including HR, Payroll, IT, Nursing,
Clinical Operations, and Finance as well as internal HR departments
- Partner with an experienced UKG Dimensions team to manage all aspects of the project including
functionality, configuration, and best practices.
- Ensure the project addresses the remediation of:
- Complex pay rules and pay rule building
- Shift differentials (including clinical, union, rotating, and specialty diffs)
- Work rules, job transfer rules, and schedule rules
- Accruals, rounding rules, and overtime calculations
- Internal controls and audit/compliance frameworks
- Manage relationships with UKG, Workday SI partners, and any third-party consultants.
- Ensure vendor deliverables meet quality standards and align with project timelines.
- Facilitate structured workshops, design sessions, and stakeholder meetings, ensuring clarity of
objectives, documentation of outcomes, and follow-through on action items.
- Escalate and resolve issues proactively.
- Ensure alignment with organizational PMO methodologies, including adherence to project
lifecycle checkpoints, quality gates, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure strict scope management, including change control processes, impact assessments, and
stakeholder approvals for any modifications to project deliverables.
- Lead cutover planning, go-live readiness, and hypercare.
- Ensure smooth transition to operations with clear documentation, support models, and knowledge
transfer.
Qualifications:
10+ years of project management experience, with at least 5+ years focused on UKG Dimensions (or Kronos Workforce Central with Dimensions migration experience).
Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Data Sciences, or Business Administration
