Manual QA Engineer l

Plan A Technologies is looking for an experienced Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying software defects, and collaborating with development teams to ensure high-quality production releases. As a seasoned QA generalist, you will bring a sharp eye for detail to ensure an optimal user experience across our platforms.

Please note:you must have at least 5+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer to be considered for this role.

• Design, document, and execute comprehensive manual test cases based on functional requirements and user stories.
• Identify, isolate, log, and track software defects through to resolution, collaborating closely with developers to reproduce and verify fixes.
• Perform thorough regression, functional, and smoke testing to ensure system stability before major production deployments.
• Partner with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle.

• 6+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer or in a dedicated software testing role.
• Proven experience in manual testing methodologies, test case design, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira or similar platforms).
• Demonstrated ability to perform exploratory, end-to-end, and UI/UX testing across web or mobile platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail and sharp analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for documenting clear, reproducible bug reports.
• Strong organizational abilities with a proactive approach to identifying system edge cases.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Initiative and drive to do great things.
