IT Specialist
Location:
New York (office-based)
Full-time. You will work 4 days per week from our New York office.
We are looking for a hands‑on IT Specialist to own and manage day‑to‑day IT operations in our New York office. This user‑facing role keeps our employees productive, endpoints healthy, and office technology running smoothly and securely.
What you will do:- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for employees both onsite and remotely, serving as the first point of contact for IT issues
- Manage and maintain Mac and Windows endpoints across their full lifecycle — from provisioning and configuration to troubleshooting and retirement
- Administer Okta, including user management, group policies, permissions, and security settings
- Own and operate MDM solutions for Mac and Windows devices, ensuring devices are compliant, up to date, and properly configured
- Support and maintain SSO integrations across internal tools and systems
- Own the meeting room IT experience, including conferencing hardware, displays, and Zoom Rooms or similar setups
- Handle IT procurement for the US team – ordering hardware, managing inventory, and coordinating timely replacements
- Lead IT onboarding and offboarding, ensuring employees have the hardware, accounts, and access they need from day one (and that access is properly revoked when they leave)
- Partner with the Security and broader IT teams to enforce policies, implement best practices, and support audits or compliance initiatives
- Maintain clear and up‑to‑date documentation for IT processes, systems, and troubleshooting guides
- 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in an IT support or IT operations role, ideally within a fast‑paced or high‑growth environment
- Strong experience administering Google Workspace
- Solid experience supporting both macOS and Windows environments
- Hands‑on experience with MDM platforms for device management and compliance
- Working knowledge of SSO concepts and identity providers (Okta experience strongly preferred)
- Proven ability to deliver friendly, efficient Tier 1 and Tier 2 support without sacrificing quality
- Strong communication skills and a service‑oriented mindset – you take ownership, follow through, and make people feel supported
- Experience with Jamf for macOS management
- Experience with Microsoft Intune for Windows device management
- Experience supporting modern meeting room and conferencing setups
- Experience with Workato or other automation/integration platforms
