Job Description

The Worker will lead cross‑functional teams through the execution of complex technical projects, including a Mainframe Transformation initiative. This role requires strong experience managing enterprise‑level projects involving Azure cloud environments, .NET application development, Dev Ops practices, and data integration.

The Candidate will be responsible for delivering multiple projects on schedule and within budget by applying project management best practices, ensuring scope alignment, managing stakeholder expectations, and tracking project risks and issues. The ideal candidate will have technical acumen to understand architecture and integration efforts and provide oversight across SDLC phases using Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end‑to‑end management of Mainframe Transformation and Azure‑based technical initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams, business units, and leadership to ensure alignment.
  • Understand and manage technical solution roadmaps in Azure, including Dev Ops CI/CD and software integration strategies.
  • Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery milestones.
  • Proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee quality assurance and monitor solution performance in collaboration with technical leads.
  • Ensure the creation and maintenance of key project documents such as charters, plans, reports, and dashboards.
  • Support regulatory obligations in the Oil, Gas, and Energy sector through disciplined delivery and documentation.
Qualifications
  • Experience managing .NET‑based application projects.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud initiatives.
  • Experience in application migration to cloud platforms.
  • Experience with legacy or mainframe systems migrated to COTS solutions or Azure Cloud.
  • Experience with Oil & Gas clients highly preferred.
  • Traditional mainframe/legacy modernization experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/ Scrum-based SDLC management.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, risk and issue management skills.
  • Solid performance monitoring and reporting capabilities.
  • National/regulatory compliance awareness within the Oil, Gas, and Energy sector.
