Senior Net Suite Developer – Job Description

Location: Sunnyvale, CA. In-office Monday to Thursday, with a Friday option to work from home.

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Net Suite Developer to join our ERP/IT team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in Suite Script (2.x/2.1), Suite Cloud Development Framework (SDF), and strong project management capabilities, with a deep understanding of core Net Suite modules and standard platform functionalities. You will lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of custom Net Suite solutions, and contribute to strategic planning and cross-functional collaboration to optimize our ERP system.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop custom Net Suite solutions using Suite Script 2.x/2.1, SDF, RESTlets, and integrations with external systems.
  • Lead ERP projects from requirements gathering to deployment, including scope definition, technical planning, and post-deployment support.
  • Build and maintain Net Suite customizations, including workflows, scripts, custom records, and user roles/permissions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Net Suite standard functions (e.g., Financials, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, CRM, Inventory, etc.).
  • Utilize Suite Cloud Development Framework (SDF) to manage and deploy code in a structured and scalable way.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Sales, and IT to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with prioritization based on business needs.
  • Develop and manage API integrations between Net Suite and external systems using REST, SOAP, and other protocols.
  • Design scalable and efficient data flows between systems; maintain documentation for customizations, configurations, and technical processes.
  • Assist in managing Net Suite integration with other platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Shopify, Celigo, Boomi, etc.).
  • Participate in system upgrades, sandbox refreshes, and overall Net Suite environment management.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
  • 5+ years of Net Suite development experience, with a focus on Suite Script (2.x/2.1).
  • Strong proficiency in Suite Cloud Development Framework (SDF).
  • Solid understanding of Net Suite's standard modules and business processes.
  • Proven experience in managing ERP-related projects, from concept to delivery.
  • Strong understanding of Net Suite architecture, APIs, and integration capabilities (REST/SOAP).
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing API integrations and data synchronization across multiple systems.
  • Understanding of relational databases, data mapping, and best practices for data integration and transformation.
  • Familiarity with Net Suite best practices for configuration, performance, and scalability.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills; strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Net Suite certifications (e.g., Suite Foundation, Suite Cloud Developer II).
  • Familiarity with Oracle Suite of products, including Oracle Fusion.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins) in Net Suite development.
  • Background in Agile/Scrum project management methodologies.
  • Experience in multi-subsidiary, multi-currency environments.
  • Knowledge of integration tools like Celigo, Boomi, Mule Soft, or similar iPaaS platforms.
