About the job Remote Bid Solution Architect

Remote Bid Solution Architect needs 3-5 years minimum and experience with leading & writing for technical government proposal responses

  • Technical experience
  • Strong written communication skills (writing proposals will be a primary responsibility)
  • Bachelor degree in a related technical major (or comparable work experience)
  • Experience and understanding of large-scale distributed computing systems in enterprise-wide and/or environments required.
  • Minimum 4 years? experience in Information Technology industry.
  • Strong working knowledge or work experience with software design and programming experience
  • Minimum 3 years? experience leading or writing technical proposals.
  • Working knowledge of Java, and/or .NET development environment.
  • Working knowledge in Dev Ops and cloud environments.
  • High proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experienced in MS Azure or Tanzu environments.
  • Worked in transportation industry.
  • Experience working on Government contracts.
  • Working experience with software design and programming experience.
Responsibilities
  • Own the bid technical response in coordination with management, technical team, and sales.
  • Coordinate with sales, capture personnel, practice leaders and technical team to gather required proposal content, including writing and reviewing technical content.
  • Responsible for preparation of solution concepts, cost estimates, pricing, and technical proposal write-ups consistent with associated win strategy and themes.
  • Take ownership in the development of pre-sell materials, proposals, presentations, and product demos.
  • Ensures that the various aspects of the technical proposals (win themes, technical scope, staff qualifications and experience) and other marketing materials are accurate, timely, and well written.
  • Write proposal technical sections, white papers, and technical specification sheets, etc.
  • Lead and analyze RFI, RFQ, RFPs and other bid documents for requirements, identify the solution gaps between product offering and the requests, and work with the product team on the roadmap for future development.
  • Assist in building the proposal compliance matrix and track the fulfillment of all requirements for the proposal of engineering development items.
  • Upon award, complete a full knowledge transfer of the requirements to the implementation teams.
