: $38.20 - $57.30
Schedule
: 8:00am – 5:00pm EST. Remote work is an option; in‑person at the Innovation Quarter, Winston‑Salem, NC is encouraged.
- Attend project and departmental meetings and contribute to the project design concerning data management needs
- Collaborate with faculty, team leads, and stakeholders to anticipate, define, and satisfy data needs
- Develop data preprocessing pipelines to ensure high‑quality input for models and algorithms
- Explore and integrate state‑of‑the‑art techniques, including machine learning, natural language processing, expert systems, and automation, to address research challenges
- Optimize and fine‑tune existing models to improve accuracy, efficiency, and performance
- Conduct thorough analyses and experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of solutions and provide insights for further improvements
- Document code, methodologies, and results for effective knowledge sharing
- Perform other related duties as needed
- Strong experience in Python or R programming
- In‑depth knowledge of artificial intelligence methods, particularly machine learning models and natural language processing (NLP) data analysis
- Proficiency in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques
- Familiarity and experience with Agile or a similar project management methodology
- Superior oral and written communication skills to translate complex technical details into effectively digestible explanations
- Working knowledge of SQL, Oracle, and SQL Server databases
- Familiarity with medical data, standards, and terminology (a plus)
- Experience working in a cloud environment (a plus)
- Base compensation within the listed pay range based on qualifications, skills, and experience
