One of our companies is currently looking for a Data Scientist, Finance Analytics in Texas, New York, or California. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic Finance Analytics team, contributing to strategic financial insights by analyzing complex data and delivering actionable recommendations. Your work will directly influence the company's growth by ensuring financial metrics align with business priorities.

You will collaborate with the Strategic Finance Team to drive high-impact projects and assist in building dashboards and financial models that enhance business performance.

Accountabilities:

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to ensure the accuracy and relevance of key metrics, aligning them with business priorities.
• Develop and maintain executive dashboards, KPIs, and data sets to provide real-time financial insights to leadership.
• Address complex business challenges by creating clear and actionable financial metrics, supporting decision-making at the highest levels.
• Foster a culture of data excellence by promoting best practices for data management and analytics across teams.
• Communicate findings effectively, translating complex data into clear insights that drive strategic business decisions.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience as a data scientist, preferably in a high-growth startup environment working with leadership teams.
• Expertise in Looker Semantic Modeling and BI tools, with the ability to build self-service data sets for the Finance team.
• Strong background in financial data analysis, with at least 6 years of experience in data science, analytics, or engineering.
• Proficient in SQL and tools like R or Python, with the ability to handle large datasets and maintain data integrity.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented, with a passion for uncovering insights that guide strategic decisions.
