Walker Healthforce is seeking a .NET Developer with 5-7 years of experience in systems analysis and programming with .NET. This is a contract opportunity supporting enterprise healthcare technology initiatives.

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

• 5-7 years of experience in systems analysis and programming with .NET

• Experience with Facets Batch C#

• SQL Server experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent years of experience

• Knowledge of information technology concepts, application development methodologies, terminology, and standards

• Demonstrated ability to lead, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and associated resources

• Strong analytical, design, development, and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting applications

• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications

• Experience developing and implementing system and application test plans

• Ability to support application performance optimization and system enhancements

• Experience supporting medium to complex application development initiatives

• Proven ability to provide technical leadership and mentor junior team members

• Experience working with databases, application platforms, and enterprise systems

• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and analysis to design, develop, modify, and integrate complex information systems

• Design, code, test, debug, and document programs, subroutines, scripts, and application enhancements

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions

• Develop and implement application and system test plans, data validation processes, and quality assurance procedures

• Enhance and optimize existing systems to improve functionality, performance, capacity, and response times

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and system procedures

• Troubleshoot production issues, respond to system failures, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence

• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams to support project delivery and operational objectives

• Provide technical leadership on assigned projects and support discovery, design, and implementation efforts

• Coordinate work assignments, review deliverables, and provide guidance to less-experienced developers and analysts

• Participate in presentations, knowledge sharing, and user support activities as needed
