Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $128,000 - $173,000

Department Overview

Enterprise Business & Technology Modernization is a cross‑functional organization leading a major business and technology modernization initiative designed to unlock customer value by simplifying collaborative work processes. Propel will migrate to SAP S/4

HANA, providing an opportunity to standardize processes, clean the technology core, and enable innovation across Engineering, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Information Technology. Through a phased approach it will implement process standardization, operating model changes, data improvements, SAP, and other technology applications with a focus on incremental business capability improvement and value delivery.

The team comprises multidisciplinary coworkers with deep functional and industry expertise to design and implement end‑to‑end business processes and technology solutions following industry‑leading practices. They partner closely with IT and external partners and stakeholders to adopt standard processes and maximize the use of out‑of‑the‑box proven technology solutions. Position

Summary

The Supply Chain Management Data Lead (Systems Analyst, Principal) will lead the data workstream within the Supply Chain functional team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Executing Propel Program master data governance efforts for the Supply Chain functional workstream.
  • Providing sign‑off around data conversion strategy, data governance plan, data retention and archiving, reporting, data quality assessment, and data cleansing approach.
  • Identifying areas requiring data profiling and cleansing.
  • Identifying data requirements related to reporting and analytics.
  • Engaging key stakeholders from various functional areas to support data quality assessment, conversion, reporting, analytics, governance, and archiving processes.

Required understanding of core SAP SCM modules MM (Material Management) and EWM, as well as extended procurement solutions Ariba, Fieldglass, and Icertis. The candidate will drive cross‑functional collaboration, ensure alignment with Supply Chain and Propel goals for standardizing processes, enhancing data quality, and enabling future state STP design.

This position is hybrid, with remote work and onsite in Oakland as needed.

Reporting Relationship

Reports directly to the Director, SCM Propel.

Job Responsibilities
  • Data Governance:
    Build and enforce standard naming conventions, global metadata rules, and rigid validation logic across the enterprise.
  • Quality Auditing:
    Run routine master data compliance audits to proactively address profile discrepancies or missing fields.
  • Lifecycle Migration:
    Drive technical execution for data cleansing, profiling, and loading during migrations such as SAP ECC to S/4

    HANA.
  • Module Integration:
    Validate functional relationships between foundational material records and logistics execution modules.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Translate technical data parameters into operational requirements during functional blueprinting workshops.
  • Mentor others by coaching on analytical techniques, data gathering techniques, and current system documentation.
  • Document data issues for future conversion and integration efforts.
  • Provide subject‑matter expertise on projects to implement and enhance enterprise Supply Chain applications.
  • Share internal best practices and standards to enhance delivery efficiency, quality, and repeatability.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 10 years of related or equivalent experience.
