The Systems Engineer I is responsible for handling service requests and incidents escalated from Tier 1 Support, covering printers, workstations, servers, and vendor hardware.
Responsibilities- IT support for customers using Microsoft operating systems and applications.
- Patch management for workstations.
- Virus and malware detection and removal.
- Basic server administration.
- Remote and onsite workstation troubleshooting.
- Communicate with clients and co‑workers, updating tickets immediately with progress and next steps.
- Maintain documentation and configuration up to date.
- Perform all other duties as requested, including assisting co‑workers and urgent service requests.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong teamwork ability.
- Sound judgment to know when to elevate issues to management.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes and multi‑task.
- Competitive, high‑achieving attitude with persistence.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) for Windows 7 and Windows 8.
- Advanced knowledge of business applications and basic server administration.

Location:
Net Source One, Inc.–Troy, MI. Remote work possible after training.
Work Type:
Full‑time (full‑time). Competitive wages starting at $50,000, with compensation based on experience.
Hours:
40 hours per week, with additional time as required. Engineers participate in a one‑week on‑call rotation with a bonus each week. Optional 4–10‑hour days after training.
Travel is required.
