Systems Engineer

The Systems Engineer I is responsible for handling service requests and incidents escalated from Tier 1 Support, covering printers, workstations, servers, and vendor hardware.

• IT support for customers using Microsoft operating systems and applications.
• Patch management for workstations.
• Virus and malware detection and removal.
• Basic server administration.
• Remote and onsite workstation troubleshooting.
• Communicate with clients and co‑workers, updating tickets immediately with progress and next steps.
• Maintain documentation and configuration up to date.
• Perform all other duties as requested, including assisting co‑workers and urgent service requests.

Location:

Net Source One, Inc.–Troy, MI. Remote work possible after training.

Work Type:
Full‑time (full‑time). Competitive wages starting at $50,000, with compensation based on experience.

Hours:

40 hours per week, with additional time as required. Engineers participate in a one‑week on‑call rotation with a bonus each week. Optional 4–10‑hour days after training.

Travel is required.
