7 days ago Requisition

Position Purpose

The Senior Functional Analyst is responsible for driving the growth, adoption, and business impact of the company’s enterprise data and analytics platform. Acting as the bridge between stakeholders and the Data and Analytics team, the analyst owns upstream project work and leads intake and discovery, translating business needs into clear and actionable requirements, producing wireframes and user experience direction, product testing, and end‑user acceptance testing to ensure delivery aligns with the needs.

The analyst closely partners with the Vice President of IT, Data, and Financial Services, project managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to drive iterative, agile delivery of Foundry‑based solutions that enable data‑informed decision making across the organization. The analyst ensures the team solves the right problem before engineering begins and that solutions align with business processes, data logic, user experience, and measurable outcomes.

    • Write user stories with clear acceptance criteria that the engineering team can build against.

    • Build and maintain relationships with business group leaders so they have a trusted point of contact on the data team.
    • Own and manage product testing and end‑user acceptance testing.
  • UI/UX Direction and Wire framing
    • Produce lightweight wireframes or mockups to align with stakeholders before engineering begins UI work.
    • Define user flows and screen‑level requirements for application interfaces.
    • Review UI builds against requirements and provide feedback to engineering.
  • Proactive Backlog Intake and Roadmap Support
    • Support the manager in roadmap planning by providing business context, stakeholder priorities, and scoping estimates.
