Senior Systems Engineer; Windows Endpoint Mangement

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain the Windows endpoint environment, including endpoint management, patch management, security management and deployment automation.
• Evaluate new technologies related to end‑user computing for corporate use.
• Develop standardized work environments on company‑owned devices to ensure usability, performance and security.
• Automate end‑user support activities, including packaging software and scripting support tasks.
• Automate service desk and desktop support tasks using scripting languages (Power Shell).
• Package Gartner‑owned software for deployment via configuration management tools (Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune).
• Leverage DEX tools to optimize the employee experience on Windows endpoints.
• Lead the design and development of DEX‑based remote actions and dashboards to improve operational efficiency.
• Administer Configuration Manager and Intune, including metrics and reporting.
• Use AI‑driven tools (e.g., Gemini, Copilot) to aid scripting, diagnostics and resolution drafting.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging endpoint security and management technologies.
• Coach internal support teams via email, videos, virtual training sessions, and support documentation.
• Work within the ITIL Change Management process to shepherd planned changes.

• 2+ years of experience automating tasks using scripting languages (Power Shell).
• 3+ years of experience using Intune or Configuration Manager to manage and deploy Windows devices.
• Experience packaging and distributing applications with Configuration Manager.
• Experience with Windows patching using Windows Autopatch, Windows Update for Business, WSUS/CM, Software Update Groups (SUG), Automatic Deployment Rules (ADR) and third‑party patching tools.

• Hybrid Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
• Microsoft Azure and Autopilot deployment via Intune.
• Experience with Windows 365 Cloud PCs, Azure Virtual Desktop or similar VDI solutions.
• Active Directory Users and Computers administration.
• PowerBI and reporting.
• Intune configuration policies and Group Policy.
• DEX (Digital Employee Experience) tools.
• Microsoft Office 365 and Office Configuration Manager.

• Graduate or post‑graduate (BE/BTech, ME/MTech, MCA) is preferred.
• Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
• Can work independently or collaboratively in a fast‑paced Agile/Scrum environment.
• Owns success and takes responsibility for solution delivery.
• Strong desire to improve skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies.
