Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain the Windows endpoint environment, including endpoint management, patch management, security management and deployment automation.
- Evaluate new technologies related to end‑user computing for corporate use.
- Develop standardized work environments on company‑owned devices to ensure usability, performance and security.
- Automate end‑user support activities, including packaging software and scripting support tasks.
- Automate service desk and desktop support tasks using scripting languages (Power Shell).
- Package Gartner‑owned software for deployment via configuration management tools (Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune).
- Leverage DEX tools to optimize the employee experience on Windows endpoints.
- Lead the design and development of DEX‑based remote actions and dashboards to improve operational efficiency.
- Administer Configuration Manager and Intune, including metrics and reporting.
- Use AI‑driven tools (e.g., Gemini, Copilot) to aid scripting, diagnostics and resolution drafting.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging endpoint security and management technologies.
- Coach internal support teams via email, videos, virtual training sessions, and support documentation.
- Work within the ITIL Change Management process to shepherd planned changes.
- 2+ years of experience automating tasks using scripting languages (Power Shell).
- 3+ years of experience using Intune or Configuration Manager to manage and deploy Windows devices.
- Experience packaging and distributing applications with Configuration Manager.
- Experience with Windows patching using Windows Autopatch, Windows Update for Business, WSUS/CM, Software Update Groups (SUG), Automatic Deployment Rules (ADR) and third‑party patching tools.
- Hybrid Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
- Microsoft Azure and Autopilot deployment via Intune.
- Experience with Windows 365 Cloud PCs, Azure Virtual Desktop or similar VDI solutions.
- Active Directory Users and Computers administration.
- PowerBI and reporting.
- Intune configuration policies and Group Policy.
- DEX (Digital Employee Experience) tools.
- Microsoft Office 365 and Office Configuration Manager.
- Graduate or post‑graduate (BE/BTech, ME/MTech, MCA) is preferred.
- Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
- Can work independently or collaboratively in a fast‑paced Agile/Scrum environment.
- Owns success and takes responsibility for solution delivery.
- Strong desire to improve skills in software development, frameworks, and technologies.
- Competitive compensation, including a base salary range of $86,000 – $118,000 USD.
