CGI Federal offers a Remote Support Technician position within the Intel sector, focusing on national security technology. The role involves providing technical assistance to users remotely via phone, email, or remote desktop software, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, guiding users through solutions, performing system updates, and documenting interactions. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and independent work skills are essential.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, networks, and system access remotely.
• Provide support via phone, email, chat, or remote desktop software.
• Guide users through troubleshooting steps and solutions.
• Perform system updates, software installations, and other maintenance tasks remotely.
• Maintain detailed records of issues, solutions, and user interactions.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues or escalations.
• Contribute to and maintain a knowledge base of common issues and solutions.

• Must live within a 50-mile radius of the Bollston area, Virginia.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or 0 to 2 years of experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly; active TS/SCI with Poly highly desired.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS), networking concepts, and remote support tools (Team Viewer, Log Me In , Any Desk).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Self‑motivation and time‑management skills; ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Customer service orientation.
• Preferred:
  Experience with cloud collaboration tools, VPNs, and endpoint management platforms.
