Sr. Director, Business Relationship Manager, Personal Lines (Remote)

The Sr. Director serves as a strategic partner between IT and business units, driving technology solutions that align with organizational goals and enhance product delivery for personal lines.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary liaison between business units and IT, translating business needs into actionable technology initiatives.
  • Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for key products and services; oversee entire product lifecycle.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to prioritize product features based on business value and customer needs.
  • Conduct market and user research to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Support IT portfolio and demand management by establishing processes to evaluate and prioritize business requirements.
  • Facilitate collaboration among IT, product, and business stakeholders; communicate progress to senior leadership.
  • Champion emerging technologies and industry trends; drive continuous improvement through agile methodologies and Dev Ops practices.
  • Create and maintain a collaborative, inclusive, psychologically safe environment, modeling core beliefs and company culture.
  • Deliver strategy through an enterprise lens; represent the company at industry events and travel as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent in business, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of product management experience in commercial and/or personal lines insurance.
  • Proven track record managing complex projects and delivering results in fast-paced environments.
  • Deep technical background with understanding of product development processes.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Proficiency in Agile methods and tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience, with a minimum of 2 years in direct people management.
