Job Summary

Principal Specialist, SAP BW – Enterprise Services Team Remote (U.S. only, U.S. citizen required)
We are looking for a seasoned professional to support, troubleshoot, and optimize our SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and HANA solutions. The role is 24/7/365, requiring frequent on‑call rotations, flexible scheduling, and occasional weekend work to meet business deadlines.

• Provide 24/7/365 support and troubleshooting for SAP BW reporting and analytics platform.
• Schedule and monitor batch jobs using Redwood Run My Jobs ; monitor batch success and performance.
• Resolve SAP BW and HANA break‑fix issues and identify performance opportunities.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain batch jobs and workflows.
• Recommend improvements and best practices for automated workflows and batch operations.
• Participate in batch operations architecture and strategy.
• Research and recommend alternative solutions based on best practices and application functionality.
• Assist with capacity related issues (storage, licenses, performance thresholds).
• Serve on an on‑call rotation for batch processing.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience interfacing with SAP BW.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or STEM field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with SAP BW batch development and support.
• Experience with general SAP BW development.

• Experience with Redwood scheduling tools (Run My Jobs ).
• Experience with SAP HANA development and monitoring.
• Experience with UNIX scripting.
• Large‑scale implementation experience in complex solution environments.
• DoD experience.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and on‑call weekend hours.

• Competitive salary: 86,800 – 165,200 USD.
