About the Role
The Web Production Coordinator is a critical member of the Backroads web marketing team, responsible for publishing and maintaining web content and site navigation while meeting high Quality Assurance (QA) standards. This role requires a mix of technical web site knowledge, digital content management skills, and a demonstrated commitment to quality and detail. You can turn projects around quickly and are willing to follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion.
You enjoy working cross‑functionally with Marketing, Sales, IT and Trip Development teams to solve business problems on the web. This role is not just about technical skill but also requires the ability to work within a highly collaborative environment.
- Execute new Trip launches and the website Go Live process, managing the critical path to get trip information and photography published in accordance with established timelines.
- Maintain a consistent global Design System and Component Library within the CMS to ensure visual and functional consistency across thousands of web pages.
- Execute automated content governance workflows—from intake and staging to UAT and publishing—to eliminate manual bottlenecks and increase speed‑to‑market.
- Create and publish new “storytelling” web pages in collaboration with marketing design and copy teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Maintain knowledge base (Confluence) documentation to support web content deliverables and timelines for publishing new trip pages and content.
- Support A/B and user testing, website optimization, and web content personalization efforts to drive higher levels of engagement and conversions.
- Proactively identify and resolve web usability and content issues.
- Ensure accuracy, superior user experience and quality for our digital experience.
- 1‑3 years of demonstrated hands‑on web production experience on modern, enterprise CMS platforms (Drupal, Contentful, Shopify, Magento, etc.).
- Previous experience with content‑rich, transactional DTC eCommerce web sites where rapid changes and accuracy are an expected course of business.
- Technical Fluency:
Advanced understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript. - Expert‑level mastery of a modern enterprise CMS platform (Contentful, Drupal, or Adobe Experience Manager) and best practices for establishing global and/or dynamic modules/content blocks, effective architecture and efficient processes.
- Understanding of core integrations such as Digital Asset Management, experimentation platforms (Optimizely, VWO), on‑site search tools, etc.
- Understanding of GA4, Google Tag Manager, website data layer, Core Web Vitals, WCAG 2.1 accessibility compliance, consent tools and technical SEO/AEO/GEO frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; enjoy working with others.
- Experience managing multiple projects at once, resolving competing priorities, working swiftly under pressure, and meeting project deadlines.
- Hard‑wired for attention to detail, timely responses in a service‑oriented environment with zero tolerance for sloppy mistakes.

$33.66 – $43.27 per hour
