Incident Response Analyst

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of incident response experience
• Experience with Crowdstrike and Web Application Firewall (WAF)
• Proficient with at least one scripting language (Python, Java, Power Shell, Bash)
• Cloud experience is a plus

• Address cybersecurity incidents: identify, isolate, resolve, recover, document, and communicate incidents.
• Identify threats, develop defense measures, evaluate system changes for security implications, recommend enhancements, conduct research, and draft cybersecurity recommendations for flaws found in code, network, and cloud infrastructure.
• Participate in vulnerability valuations for hosted environments and applications.
• Participate in technical design reviews and integrations, and make security recommendations to improve defenses.
• Participate in hackathons.
• Work with development teams to update third‑party libraries.
• Work with network teams to improve security configurations.
• Utilize modern cybersecurity tools such as Crowd Strike, Guard Duty, Cloud Trail, AWS Shield, Data Dog, Darktrace, Trend Micro, Zscaler.
• Integrate security testing tools in CICD process:
  Burp Suite, Xcode, SWASP Checker, SoapUI.
