Objective:

Provide specialized network and cyber-security administration support to maintain secure, compliant, and modern network infrastructures. This role focuses on mitigating operational challenges, managing hardware life cycles, and executing critical security requests.

• Review and execute Firewall Service Requests (FSRs), break-fix tickets, and formal change requests.
• Facilitate the decommissioning and refresh of End-of-Life (EOL) hardware on a recurring basis.
• Implement security controls and configurations to ensure compliance with IRS, FBI, and CJI standards.
• Configure and manage Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls.

Technical Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Palo Alto Firewalls, including next-generation features such as Zones, security policies, S2S VPN, Natting, and basic threat prevention.
• Experience with Cisco ASA Firewalls, including configuration, troubleshooting, and rule management.
• Foundational knowledge of general networking, including routing protocols, subnetting, and the OSI model.
