You'll Do
As a Data Architecture and Governance Manager within the business‑aligned GES Technology group, you will oversee all aspects of data architecture, data modeling, governance, and operations. You will be responsible for defining the target‑state data architecture for data and analytics, enterprise data models and embedding governance practices that improve data quality, compliance, and business value. You will have the opportunity to partner with a team of experienced product owners, product managers and leaders from other key work streams in the practice and will be supported by a team of experienced practitioners.
- Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture, data models, standards, and roadmap aligned to business and analytics priorities.
- Lead the design of scalable, secure, and modern data platforms, including data lakes, warehouses, semantic layers, and integration patterns.
- Establish and operationalize data governance frameworks covering data ownership, stewardship, metadata, lineage, quality, privacy, retention, and access controls.
- Partner with business, engineering, security, and analytics leaders to prioritize data domains and enable trusted, high‑value data products.
- Create and enforce architecture principles, reference models, and design standards for structured and unstructured data.
- Drive master data, reference data, and common data model strategies to improve consistency across systems and reporting.
- Oversee data quality management, including rules, controls, monitoring, issue remediation, and governance forums.
- Guide the selection and implementation of data governance, catalog, lineage, and quality tooling.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and privacy requirements relevant to data management and usage.
- Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the data architecture and governance team and implement best practices.
- Develop and enforce data security policies to protect sensitive information and comply with legal and regulatory requirements such as GDPR.
- Monitor and assess data security risks and vulnerabilities and implement measures to mitigate them.
- Train and develop your team of data professionals.

Qualifications- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co‑locate in person 2‑3 days per week.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data management, or enterprise data leadership roles.
