Application Solution Architect (RPA / Low-Code / No-Code)
Location: Remote Position Type: 6M C2H Hourly / Salary: to $150K+ (based on experience) + 15% bonus
Job SummaryThe Application Solution Architect will lead the Enterprise Applications team in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise application solutions across Cloud and OnPrem environments. They will support key enterprise platforms (Workday / iCims / Dynamics / Quick Base / Additional Custom Developed Products), ensuring successful development, integration, and operation of enterprise applications and supporting technologies. Working closely with cross‑functional teams and business stakeholders, they translate business needs into scalable and secure technical solutions, develop custom applications, design integrations, support Dev Ops processes, and deliver targeted technology solutions that improve business operations while aligning with enterprise technology standards.
- Enterprise Applications Leadership – Technical Lead for Enterprise Applications teams, designing and documenting architecture aligned to Well‑Architected Framework principles and enterprise technology standards.
- Architecture / Development Blend (hands‑on) – 50/50 architecture/development, no purely theoretical background.
- Enterprise Integrations / Automation – Designing, implementing, and delivering integration and automation solutions across Workday, Dynamics, UiPath, Quick Base, Power Automate platforms.
- Business / Technical Alignment – Collaborating with business stakeholders to define application/platform vision and translating requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Architecture Governance / Dev Ops Collaboration – Partnering with enterprise architects to ensure application‑level compliance through architecture reviews, code reviews, and development guidance for Dev Ops teams.
- Low‑Code / RPA Development – Developing and maintaining point solutions, lightweight applications and RPAs using Quick Base, UiPath, and other low‑code platforms supporting business workflows.
- Azure Dev Ops / CI/CD – Supporting development and Dev Ops processes for Azure‑based custom applications (CI/CD pipeline management and automation).
- Business Process Automation – Utilizing MS Power Apps, Power Automate, UiPath to improve operational efficiency and business automation.
- Software Development Life Cycle – Participating across full SDLC activities including design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support.
- Technology Modernization / Innovation – Maintaining awareness of emerging technologies to ensure applications remain secure, modern, and scalable.
- Healthcare / Regulatory Experience – Experience in healthcare or highly regulated environments, understanding security and compliance requirements related to patient data protection.
- Azure application development (5+ years) – experience in Azure environments (PaaS, SaaS, IaC, microservices).
- Modern development languages (5+ years) – developing applications using C# or JavaScript.
- Database technologies / data platforms – supporting SQL Server, SQL Azure, Cosmos DB.
- Scripting / automation – Power Shell, Python, Perl for automation, scripting, operational support.
- Frameworks / application development (3+ years) – current Entity Framework or MVC technologies.
- Azure Dev Ops / CI/CD – leveraging Azure Dev Ops technologies (CI/CD pipelines, GIT repositories, release automation).
- Agile / SCRUM methodologies – working in SCRUM team environments.
- Enterprise platforms / integrations – supporting enterprise systems such as Workday, Dynamics, HR or finance platforms and related integrations.
- Low‑Code / Automation platforms – working with Quick Base, Power Apps or similar low‑code platforms to develop business solutions and workflow automation.
- Business‑to‑technology solutioning – translating requirements into effective, scalable technical solutions.
- Enterprise architecture / system integrations – strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture and system integration design.
- Technical leadership / multi‑project delivery – leading technical efforts across multiple concurrent initiatives/work streams.
- Communication / stakeholder collaboration – excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Analytical / problem solving – strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Security / privacy awareness – understanding security, privacy and compliance principles in healthcare and enterprise environments.
- Healthcare IT / compliance – supporting healthcare systems, HIPAA/PHI protection and healthcare regulatory compliance.
