Power Platform Developer
100% Remote.
Our direct client has an opening for a Power Platform developer (job ). This position is for up to 12 months with the option of extension and is located in Hartford, CT, but 100% remote work is available. We can work W2 or Corp to Corp.
In support of Connecticut’s Department of Developmental Services (DDS), DDS requires an experienced Power Platform developer. The position will manage efforts using Azure Dev Ops and collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and leverage the Microsoft Power Platform.
Responsibilities- Support development of technical solutions to meet demands of CT DDS modernization.
- Design and architect solutions using Power Platform components to meet business needs, including creating data models, user interfaces, workflows, and reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and leverage Power Platform to create efficient and effective solutions.
- Analyze data to drive business processes.
- Develop and maintain concise end‑user documentation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable and user‑friendly applications.
- Support testing and remediate defects.
- Work with enterprise integrations based on the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Utilize SQL Server for data management.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with other systems via backend integration.
- 3+ years of experience working with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, and Power BI.
- 1+ year of experience with Azure Dev Ops.
- 1+ year of experience with Azure Cloud Services.
- 1+ year in Agile development.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of relational database concepts.
- Microsoft Certified:
Power Platform Developer Associate. - Experience with enterprise integrations based on the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Knowledge of SQL Server.
- Experience with backend integration and connecting Power Platform solutions with other systems.
