We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 10 to 13+ years of experience to join our team as a Manager - Projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure Databricks Databricks and Databricks Delta Lake along with a strong background in Property & Casualty Insurance. This role involves leading technical projects overseeing development teams and ensuring the successful delivery of innovative solutions.

Must be legally authorized to work in United States.

• Lead technical projects from inception to completion ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
• Oversee development teams providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Provide expertise in Azure Databricks Databricks and Databricks Delta Lake to drive project success.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and implement best practices for data management and analytics within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
• Ensure data integrity and security across all projects adhering to industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
• Utilize advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to derive insights from data.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to enhance project outcomes.

• Possess a strong background in Azure Databricks, Databricks and Databricks Delta Lake.
• Demonstrate extensive experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
• Exhibit excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Showcase strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Display effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Preferably have a master’s degree or relevant certifications in data analytics or project management.

Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or equivalent. 8-12+ years of experience.

The annual salary for this position is $110,000-$135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
