Systems Analyst (SA) Sr. Consultant II

The Systems Analyst (SA) Sr. Consultant II creates high level technical designs for complex projects and maintenance efforts by analyzing requirements and system architecture, collaborating with technology partners and adhering to tool standards with little assistance. The SA Consultant II assesses, documents, and mitigates design constraints and/or risks and performs design reviews to develop and support optimal IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • For high complexity projects validate code against designs and requirements; conduct code walkthroughs, inspections, and reviews.
  • Provide technical input from team into architectural assessments and support architectural assessments; assist in enforcing architectural adherence for technologies within the team.
  • Work with Business Analysts to write functional designs, and understand business requirements and process flows for high complexity projects; understand patterns, methodologies and system modeling.
  • Understand technical details, integration, and functions of a few applications, hardware, and/or software within a team; execute and enforce best practices.
  • Participate in design reviews, application design impacts between concurrent releases, and technical walkthroughs.
  • Identify systems and technical constraints, potential technology risks, and document possible mitigation strategies for high complexity projects.
  • Steward an application or project and the business process(es) supported; facilitate implementation of strategies, elimination of redundancies, and simplification of the application.
  • Create high level technical designs for high complexity projects and difficult maintenance efforts by analyzing and tracing designs to requirements (business, functional, and nonfunctional) and system architecture; create design documents and maintain design artifacts.
  • Understand and articulate how team work processes provide a line of sight to the customer.
  • Support the achievement of the Technology organization and corporate strategy; practice alignment to achieve the common purpose; demonstrate the focus on affordability, innovation and extraordinary customer service.
Education & Experience

Education:

4 year Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred).

Experience:

3 or more years of experience (Preferred).

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu):
In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $75,100.00 to $ annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
