We’re looking for a cyber mission specialist like you to apply your experience with communications security (COMSEC) and network endpoint security tools and impact our nation’s defense.

• Leverage COMSEC expertise to troubleshoot and analyze complex security challenges faced by our customers.
• Work with your team to leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to the special access mission area.
• Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls, enhancing detection capabilities and improving event correlation within large enterprises.

• 3+ years of experience maintaining cryptographic technology, COMSEC, and private key updates of end-to-end IPSEC encryption devices such as KG-175F.
• Experience in IT with networking, cabling, or troubleshooting tasks.
• Experience performing Over-The-Air-Transfer (OTAT) of key material to remote sites.
• Knowledge of COMSEC policies and procedures.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification.

• Experience with AF SAP security compliance inspections.
• Knowledge of advanced key management systems.
• Knowledge of Department of Defense Instructions (DoDI) 8500.01, DoDM 5205.07, Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 17-1302-O, and U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800 series.

Salary range: $61,900.00 to $ (annualized USD). The estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.

• Remote:
  Remote positions may require occasional work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
• Hybrid:
  Hybrid positions will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, and may also be required to visit a customer facility.
• Onsite:
  Onsite positions will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility with direct collaboration as required.
