AMG Network Hosting, LLC is an IT consulting firm and Managed Services Provider founded in 2009 and based in Fayette County, West Virginia. Our company specializes in bring IT Support Services to Small to Medium Size Businesses, as well as Government Agencies. We are looking to grow our team by adding an additional office in the North-Central West Virginia Region to support both existing clients, and future clients.
Role DescriptionThis full-time Level II Technician role is a hybrid position. At the present this position would require on-site travel to client locations in the Northern West Virginia market and work from home assist our helpdesk team when not assigned to a field ticket.
With the creation of this position work would begin to acquire a physical office space within the region that the employee would report to once completed with some flexibility to work from home.
This is a single position, but looking for a candidate to assist in establishing an office in Bridgeport/Clarksburg, Buckhannon, Elkins or Franklin, WV area.
The Technician will install, configure, and maintain workstations, servers, network devices, and telecommunications equipment for small and medium-sized business clients. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, monitoring system performance, and performing routine maintenance and updates. The role also involves responding to support tickets/calls, documenting work performed, and escalating complex issues when needed. The Technician will assist with network deployments, security configurations, and backup solutions, while communicating clearly with clients to explain technical issues in accessible terms.
This position requires a highly self‑motivated individual. You must be able to prioritize tasks, work to troubleshoot issues using any available resources, and have a customer oriented attitude.
Qualifications- Strong technical support and troubleshooting skills across desktops, laptops, basic servers, and common operating systems.
- Experience with networking fundamentals, including switches, routers, firewalls, Wi‑Fi configurations, and basic TCP/IP concepts.
- Familiarity with telecommunications solutions such as VoIP systems, cabling standards, and basic telecom equipment installation.
- Ability to manage multiple client tasks, document work clearly, and follow established procedures and service-level expectations.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with non-technical clients.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a small team in a hybrid (on-site and remote) environment.
- Relevant certifications or equivalent hands‑on experience are preferred.
- 5 Year or more customer IT support experience is preferred.
- Valid driver's license, vehicle and ability to travel locally to client sites as needed.
- A strong professional appearance and the ability to communicate with key stakeholders.
- High Speed Home Internet (Cable Broadband or Fiber only) (at least 100/20 Mbps)
This position requires frequent travel to client sites in the region, and may occasionally require overnight travel. At the start it would require overnight travel to our Montgomery, WV office for onboarding, and training.
All candidates must be able to pass a background check and be drug free.
Pay and BenefitsSchedule:
32 Hour Work Week (Monday - Thursday)

Rate of Pay: $19 - $25 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
