Note:

This is primarily a remote position; however, candidates must be willing and able to travel to Rochester, Minnesota as needed.

We are seeking an experienced WFS Functional Architect to lead the design, configuration, and implementation of enterprise Workforce Management solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Workforce Software (WFS), Time & Attendance, Scheduling, Absence Management, Labor Compliance, and SAP HCM/Success Factors integrations.

This role requires a seasoned functional architect who can lead workshops, define scalable workforce management solutions, oversee testing and deployment activities, and work closely with business stakeholders to support workforce transformation initiatives.

• Solution Design & Architecture — Lead Fit-to-Standard and Fit-Gap workshops; translate complex labor policies, union rules, scheduling requirements, and absence management processes into scalable system solutions; define workforce management solution architecture and business process design; develop functional specifications and review solution designs.

• Configure and Support:
  Time & Attendance, Employee Scheduling, Shift Patterns, Rotations, Overtime Eligibility Rules, Exception Handling, Time Entry and Clocking Scenarios, Absence Management Processes

• Ensure successful integration between Workforce Software and SAP HCM, SAP Payroll, SAP Success Factors Employee Central, Success Factors Time Off, Finance Systems, and Third-Party Workforce Applications
• Collaborate with technical teams on APIs, IDocs, and middleware integrations

• Review and approve functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms
• Ensure adherence to governance and design standards

• Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Support data migration activities
• Manage deployment readiness assessments
• Coordinate cutover and go-live support

• Facilitate workshops with business and IT stakeholders
• Resolve complex workforce management challenges
• Mentor junior consultants and project team members
• Communicate effectively with senior leadership

• 12+ years of Workforce Management or SAP HCM experience
• Minimum 2 full lifecycle Workforce Management implementations
• Extensive experience leading workforce management transformation initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation experience
• Experience with Time & Labor, Scheduling, and Labor Compliance solutions

• Workforce Software (WFS) experience
• SAP Success Factors Time Tracking Certification
• Workforce Software Certifications
• Public Sector, Healthcare, or Unionized Workforce experience
