Job Description
The Data Analyst II is a strategic contributor on Ryder's Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) Products & Analytics team, supporting the Automotive & Industrial (AAI) vertical. This role partners with operations, customers, and cross‑functional teams to turn complex supply chain data into durable, reusable analytics products that drive measurable business outcomes—margin, labor, service, and operational performance.
Working on Ryder's modern data stack (Azure, Snowflake, Power BI, Copilot), the Data Analyst II designs persona‑based dashboards and analytics solutions that solve once for many, rather than one‑off reports. Over time, the analyst will become a domain expert in automotive and industrial supply chain operations.
AI is core to how this team works. The Data Analyst II is expected to leverage AI daily to accelerate discovery, diagnose root causes, synthesize customer signals, and deliver insights faster and cess means owning outcomes end‑to‑end, making recommendations (not just executing tasks), and tying every initiative to a real business decision and a measurable result.
Essential Functions- Develop dashboards by understanding business needs, interpreting integrated data, and translating insights into usable visualizations that drive decisions.
- Engage the business, evaluate needs and ad‑hoc requests to prioritize product efforts and create innovative solutions.
- Possess knowledge of Ryder's business and the complexity of the supply chain world, understanding the role of data within this ecosystem.
- Enhance data maturity and integration to standardize core value‑add functionality, enabling a multiplier effect.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience developing BI solutions with Power BI or Tableau.
- Exposure to ETL tools (Alteryx or SSIS) and data manipulation tools (SQL).
- Experience with object‑oriented development stacks (.NET) is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
- Support product innovation, working closely with technology throughout the build, test, and release of the product using agile methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or equivalent.
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, MBA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Two (2) years or more of applied project experience in data management, digital transformation, or similar environments.
- Two (2)–4 years of experience creating dashboards for diagnostic analysis across business functions; experience in a cloud environment is a plus.
Pay type:
Salaried.
Minimum pay range: 80,000.
Maximum pay range: 105,000.
