Depending on your location within the continental US, this role may be hybrid or remote.

• If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA or Columbia, SC, this role will be hybrid. You are expected to work in the office for at least 60% of the work week, with the remainder from home.
• If you live more than 50 miles from these offices, this role will be remote. You will work from home; occasional office visits may be requested based on business need.

• Advanced experience with software configuration and modern programming languages
• Proven experience in Scrum and Dev Ops methodologies
• Ability to guide and mentor junior team members
• Lead medium projects

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
• 4+ years of experience in release practices and related environments.

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Supports architectural design and maintenance of the platform’s environment (COTS, SaaS, ERP) with distributed components.
• Ensures compliance with organizational requirements by implementing, auditing, and adhering to policies, procedures, and security standards.
• Plans software upgrades, patching, and plugin installations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitors performance, resolves problems, and manages component capacity issues.
• Designs, tests, develops, configures, and maintains integrations to platform applications.
• Adheres to the platform’s security and coding standards for resilience, data, and security.
• Reviews business requirements to deploy the best solution, including configuring, coding, and debugging.
• Works closely with cross‑functional departments to communicate status and technical proposals.
• Deploys and configures platform applications tailored to company needs.
• Designs technical solutions, configures/customizes, tests, and maintains platform applications to meet company requirements.
• Performs other duties as required.

The salary range for this job is $95,000 – $145,000. The range is based on factors such as education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. It does not include potential incentive pay or benefits, which will be provided separately.
