Application Analyst - MRI Real Estate/Property Management System
TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Application Analyst to support a critical upgrade and cloud migration of an enterprise Real Estate / Property Management system. This role will play a key part in eliciting and documenting complex business and technical requirements, supporting vendor evaluation, developing testing artifacts, and partnering with cross‑functional teams to modernize business processes. The ideal candidate brings strong application analysis experience, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the full SDLC.
This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence three days per week and remote work two days per week.
- Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, non‑functional, and technical requirements using interviews, workshops, document analysis, surveys, and site visits
- Develop and maintain As‑Is and To‑Be business process documentation, including gap analysis
- Populate business requirements into RFPs or equivalent documentation for vendor evaluation
- Review and assess vendor proposals to ensure alignment with business requirements
- Create and manage testing artifacts, including:
- Test plans
- Test scripts
- Test data
- Defect tracking and reporting
- End‑user sign‑off
- Support UAT, go‑live activities, and post‑implementation stabilization
- Develop business process flows using Microsoft Visio or equivalent tools
- Facilitate cross‑functional meetings to review and gain consensus on future‑state processes
- Collaborate with enterprise technology, infrastructure, and application support teams to:
- Establish technical vision
- Evaluate solution feasibility
- Support cloud‑hosted, vendor‑managed environments
- Perform enterprise and feasibility analysis to support system upgrades and automation initiatives
- Assist with creation of training materials and project communications as needed
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure successful delivery
- 3-5 years of experience as an Application Analyst, Business Analyst, or Technical Analyst
- Strong experience with:
- Requirements elicitation and documentation
- As‑Is / To‑Be process mapping
- Gap analysis
- SDLC artifacts (use cases, workflows, diagrams, etc.)
- Hands‑on experience creating test cases and supporting UAT
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and cross‑functional teams
- Experience supporting Real Estate or Property Management systems (MRI experience a plus, not required)
- Experience with enterprise application upgrades or cloud migrations
- Familiarity with vendor‑led implementations and managed hosting solutions
Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite (likely Monday‑Wednesday), 2 days remote. Collaborative team environment working with project managers, application engineers, and architects.
Job Type & LocationContract position based out of Honolulu, HI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range is $45.00 – $50.00/hr.
