Remote SAP - Solution Architect

Location: New York

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect with deep expertise in Aerospace & Defense (A&D) government billing to support critical initiatives, including CLIN/ACRN redesign and surge support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in federal contract billing structures and proven experience working within defense or A&D environments.

Work Schedule:

* Four-day workweek, 10 hours per day (Eastern Time)

* Fridays off

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's degree required; SAP certifications are a plus, but not required

* 8+ years of SAP experience required (10-15 years preferred)

* Hands-on experience with CLIN/ACRN structures and redesign

* Familiarity with Dassian or Cognitus billing engines preferred

* Prior experience supporting A&D or defense contractor implementations strongly preferred

Expert knowledge of government billing models, including:

* Cost-reimbursable, CPFF, CPAF

* Time & Materials (T&M), Fixed Price

* IDIQ/task orders, progress payments

* Milestone billing, withholds, retentions

* Not-separately-priced (NSP) CLINs

Hands-on experience configuring and testing Dassian or Cognitus billing solutions, including:

* Contract and funding line setup

* Allocated billing structures and billing plans

* Payment schedules, provisional rates, and invoice formatting

* Output forms and government-compliant billing processes

Strong functional expertise in SAP S/4

HANA Sales & Distribution, including:

* Sales orders, contracts, pricing, and billing documents

* Billing plans, output management, and invoice processing

* Customer master data and credit/debit operations

* Integration with FI-AR and revenue accounting

Proven ability to design and support complex federal contract structures, including:

* Contract numbers, modifications, CLIN/SLIN, and ACRN frameworks

* Period of performance, funded vs. unfunded values, and ceilings

* Funding limitation controls and contract-level reporting

* CLIN-to-WBS mapping and RFP-driven system requirements

Deep understanding of government cost structures and compliance requirements, including:

* Flow of direct labor, materials, subcontracts, ODCs, indirects, and fees into billable amounts

* FAR Part 31 allowability and unallowable cost segregation

* Indirect cost allocations and audit traceability from source transactions to invoicing

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
