The Marlin Alliance, Inc. is seeking dedicated and experienced AI/ML Integration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a crucial resource for SMEs, providing support and guidance as they incorporate these technologies into their existing workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in waveform analysis. This role requires a strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical application.

While deep waveform analysis expertise is not required, your primary focus will be on facilitating the adoption and effective use of accessible AI/ML tools and techniques. Secondarily, you will contribute to data analysis and reporting efforts using Power BI. A Top-Secret Clearance is required for this role.

Established in 2002, The Marlin Alliance is seeking to hire highly skilled individuals to support mission critical projects within the Navy. We are looking for motivated individuals to lead and support digital transformation, data science and analytics, and automation projects for variety of Navy clients. Individuals must be able to function in a fast-paced work environment and able to adapt quickly to rapidly changing requirements and technologies.

Using your comprehensive knowledge of various technologies, you will design, develop, and implement solutions to support Navy mission owners in their digital transformation journey.

Location: San Diego, CA - Hybrid 3 day's/week on-site – NAVWAR
Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance

• AI/ML Integration (Primary Focus):
  • Support SMEs in identifying and evaluating suitable AI/ML tools and services for waveform analysis.
  • Provide guidance on implementing and integrating selected AI/ML solutions.
  • Assist SMEs in adapting their processes to leverage AI/ML capabilities.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to identify opportunities for AI/ML to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and resources to support SMEs.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in readily accessible AI/ML technologies.
  • Champion the adoption of AI/ML within the team.
  • Troubleshoot technical challenges and provide solutions within the scope of available resources.
• Power BI Support (Secondary Focus):
  • Assist in developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards.
  • Contribute to data analysis and visualization efforts.
  • Support data import, transformation, and modeling tasks in Power BI.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and techniques.
• 3+ years of experience in applying AI/ML tools in technical or analytical environment
• Experience in supporting technical teams and facilitating technology adoption.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.

• Experience using or supporting integration of AI/ML tools in government or defense environments.
• Experience with AI/ML platforms and services (e.g., cloud-based ML APIs, AutoML tools).
• Familiarity with data workflows and analysis workflows and analysis scripting (e.g. Jupyter)
• Experience with MATLAB, its toolboxes (Signal Processing, Wavelet, Machine Learning), and other relevant toolboxes.
• Proficiency in Python, including Sci Py, Num Py, Scikit-learn, tslearn, tsfresh, and relevant AI/ML libraries (Tensor Flow, PyTorch).
• Experience with R and relevant packages for time series analysis and waveform analysis.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python.
• Experience with Power BI Desktop, DAX, and Power Automate.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
