We are seeking a remote Salesforce Administrator to join our team. This position provides end-user support and builds business solutions on the platform. The working environment is fast paced with high expectations, requiring strong commitment, communications, and work ethic.
This is a full-time position and may require off-hour support.
About You You are a strong problem-solver/troubleshooter and enjoy working cross-functionally while creating solutions in a variety of situations. You are great at multitasking, managing, and prioritizing workload. You are a quick learner, adapt well to new situations, and are comfortable with change. You enjoy puzzles, great at interpreting a wide range of information from diagrams, schematics, technical manuals, and regulations/compliance to general written and verbal business communications/instructions.
You are a strong communicator, and comfortable with documenting and reporting to co-workers, executives, vendors, and clients. Finally, you enjoy teaching and training people.
Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to: Day-to-day end-user support and education
- Provide users with best practices to enhance and increase their knowledge of Salesforce application.
- Manage Salesforce user accounts, profiles, permissions, configurations, page layouts, reports, dashboards, etc, and troubleshoot and resolved user issues and requests.
- Manage operational requests such as creating communities, workflow rules, validation, logic, new fields, advanced formulas, custom objects, etc.; managing roles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups
- Follow logical development practices by testing changes thoroughly within sandbox prior to deployment
- Act as a primary administrator to help maintain the system as it grows
- Maintain proper documentation of processes, policies, configurations and all changes made to the system; analyze business requirements, procedures and problems to provide solutions
- Identify and implement operational improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet business requirements
- Assist management with selecting and implementing new technology solutions that can be integrated with Salesforce
- Identify training needs for end users; develop and facilitate training including creating short training videos for users
- Participate in and serve as a resource for any projects related to Salesforce
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term projects and identify and sequences the activities needed for a successful completion
- Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders on project progress
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred or 5+ years combined experience and education
- 3+ years with direct, hands on Salesforce administrator experience
- APEX preferred but not required
- CAPM or PMP preferred but not required
- Service Cloud experience required
- Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, process builders, and custom reports/dashboards
- Experience with direct, channel, and partner sales ecosystems
