Systems Engineer, Cloud Computing: Infrastructure & Operations
Role Summary
The Solution Architect serves as the primary technical designer for the ISS AI Vertical Solution. The role is responsible for defining end-to-end technical blueprints that allow the AI orchestration platform to integrate into complex multi-vendor ecosystems. This position bridges product strategy with scalable execution, serving as the lead technical authority for the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Architectural Strategy:
Design infrastructure-agnostic blueprints supporting deployment across public cloud, private data centers, and multi-vendor edge hardware. - Ecosystem Integration:
Define and document technical standards for high-scale integration with major SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Service Now, Zendesk). - Technical Pre-Sales:
Support Product Management in leading technical discovery sessions and designing customized solutions for strategic enterprise clients. - Standardization:
Develop reusable reference architectures to minimize bespoke engineering and accelerate time-to-market for new customer verticals.
- Systems Architecture: 8+ years in Enterprise Architecture or Technical Consulting with a focus on hybrid-cloud environments.
- Integration Expertise:
Proven experience with API-first design, event-driven architecture, and enterprise middleware. - Strategic Design:
Ability to balance cost, performance, and data sovereignty requirements within a corporate environment. - Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
This role offers the flexibility to be home-based anywhere in the United States. If you’re near our Chicago or Raleigh offices, we follow a friendly hybrid model with three days a week in the office—great for collaboration and connection.
The base salary range budgeted for this position is $196,000 to 234,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found at
